At certain points in the game, the player's radar will begin beeping in a specific area. There is also one new ability- the Cowboy outfit, which allows the player to shoot down balloons and hit switches from a distance. Because the player can no longer cook lasagna to refill their health, health refills are now scattered throughout the levels in the forms of food items such as pizzas and hot dogs. Furthermore, the Vanilla Milkshake's dashing ability can now be accessed at any time by jumping on Odie's back and riding him, although the player cannot jump as pressing the jump button merely dismounts Odie. The Super Kicking Burger's kicking ability has been replaced with the Soccer Player's Uniform, the Cheesecake's gliding ability has been replaced with the Fakir's Turban, and the Chilli Con Carne has been replaced with the Chef's Outfit. However, the abilities themselves remain largely unchanged. The gameplay is similar to that of Garfield: Saving Arlene, but the ingredient-collecting/recipe mechanic has been replaced with a more restrictive costume system. The game ends with a shot of the key lying on the floor of Odie's doghouse, while Garfield chases him in circles in the front yard. The game ends with Garfield angrily trying to figure out where Odie has put the key to the lasagna factory. After trying to trample Garfield by riding Brutus, the gray cat pilots a giant mech shaped like himself and attempts to defeat Garfield once more, but is defeated. Finally, Garfield finds the key to his town's lasagna factory buried in his front lawn, but it is quickly stolen by the gray cat and Brutus, so Garfield and Odie chase after them for one final showdown. ![]() In Venice, Garfield finds a clue that leads him back to his hometown, and is fired back there by a cannon. After getting dropped off in Mexican City, they find another clue which leads them to Italy, so they head to Venice. There, he and Odie find another clue that points them towards Mexico, and get chased by a boulder until they are flung onto the back of a Mexico-bound bus. However, an unnamed gray cat and his dog Brutus attempt to stop Garfield and Odie by triggering traps and battling or chasing the duo during their journey.Īfter being chased by the gray cat and Brutus in their hometown, Garfield finds a clue in his local park, which leads him to the desert ruins of Egypt. Garfield joins an international treasure hunt for a huge lasagna hoard, and Odie decides to tag along.
